Bacteria that break down Protein These bacteria form a transparent layer by breaking down gelatin around the colony on the culture medium that turns cloudy in a gelatin precipitant
Bacteria that break down Starch Bacteria that breaks down starch in the starch culture medium form a transparent layer around the colony on the culture medium that turns dark purple in a Lugol solution.
Bacteria that break down Fat These bacteria form a cloudy layer of calcium salt by breaking down Tween20 around the fat break-down colony on the Tween20 culture medium.
Bacteria that break down Cellulose These bacteria form a transparent layer around the colony with the orange-colored culture medium through congo-red cellulose break-down bacteria of the CMC culture medium.

Antibacterial strength tests were conducted for PROBIO CA by impregnating paper discs with it. The tests were conducted with reference to determination of antibacterial activity and efficacy of textile products 9 and qualitative tests (Halo Method). The testing bacteria was Helicobacter pylori. An example of the test plate culture after cultivation in antibacterial strength tests is shown in photographic Samples 1 – 2. Halo width was calculated with the following formula.
W=(T-D)/2 W= Halo width (mm), T= Total of sample and halo length (mm), D= Sample length (mm)
For each test plate culture, Helicobacter pylori bacteria concentration = 52,000
When investigating whether some Helicobacter pylori growth-inhibitory zone (halo) formed through impregnating paper with PROBIO CA dilute solution, the T portion as shown in Sample 1 was predominantly the PROBIO CA microbial community.
The halo shown in Sample 1 is 1.8mm. The Sample 2 culture overall was predominantly the PROBIO CA microbial community.
Bacteria from PROBIO CA were 380,000/g in Sample 1 and 130,000/g in Sample 2.
